Biography

Lewis Ho is recognized as one of the leading IP and transactional attorneys in Asia focusing in the technology and life sciences sectors. He helps technology and biotechnology companies and their financial sponsors to capture, manage, risk assess, evaluate and monetize their intellectual property assets.

Lewis has extensive experience advising on both inbound and outbound transactions, and he has negotiated more than 120 M&A, collaboration, outsourcing, joint venture, licensing and financing (including IPO) deals. One of his ground-breaking deals includes the establishment of GSK R&D Centre in Shanghai, one of the first and largest projects of its kind in China. Recently, he has focused on assisting start-ups to grow and raise capital. Lewis is appointed as a domain expert for Hong Kong Science & Technology Park and business advisor to Beyond Ventures.

Passionate about creating medical and biotechnological solutions to everyday problems, Lewis joined the parent company, Avalon Biomedical Management, in July 2019. Having identified a unique opportunity prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, he co-founded Avalon Steritech and has served as its Chief Executive Officer from its inception.
